Apple Studio Display Boxes Now Recyclable

Apple has redesigned the packaging for its new Studio Display and Studio Display XDR with a collapsible design that fits in most recycling bins. The company says the boxes can be broken down into smaller pieces, making them easier to recycle at home. This packaging change is part of Apple's broader environmental efforts.

Beyond the recyclable boxes, both display models feature significant sustainability improvements. The stands are made from 100 percent recycled aluminum, while the standard glass displays contain 80 percent recycled glass - described as an Apple first. These changes apply to the standard glass models, not the upgraded anti-reflective versions.

The new Studio Displays are now available to pre-order starting Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. Pacific Time. Apple says these design changes help reduce the environmental impact of its products while maintaining the premium quality users expect from its display lineup.
