Apple agreed to pay $250 million to settle a U.S. class action lawsuit over Siri AI's delayed launch. Eligible iPhone owners could receive up to $95. A new court document reveals the timeline: notifications begin September 21, with claims opening around that date and closing December 21, pending judge approval.

Payments are expected after the final hearing on February 24, 2027. No action is needed yet. The lawsuit stems from Apple's 2024 advertising of Siri features that were delayed until 2025.

Eligibility includes U.S. residents who purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16, 16e, 16 Plus, or 16 Pro between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. Proof of purchase may be required. The settlement website will provide exact claim requirements and forms later this year.
