Apple pushed the second public betas of iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6, watchOS 26.6, and tvOS 26.6 to beta testers today, following developer releases a day earlier. Testers download the updates via the Settings app’s Software Update menu on each device.

The betas introduce a new contact‑blocking alert that triggers when a user blocks thousands of contacts, a threshold most will never hit. A preview of an anti‑snatching lock, which activates when a stolen iPhone is lifted, also surfaces.

No other headline‑making features appear; Apple focuses on bug fixes and security patches as it nears the end of the “26” cycle. The company plans to unveil iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, and other updates later this fall.
