July is nearly over, signaling Apple’s annual iPhone event is fast approaching. The company is slated to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a new foldable model likely dubbed the iPhone Ultra in September 2026. The lower‑end iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2 are pushed to March 2027 under a split‑up launch plan.

Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, in his newsletter, identified September 8 or September 9 as the most probable dates for the launch. If accurate, Apple would announce the event on August 25 or August 26, giving it the typical two‑week notice period.

Since 2020, keynotes have been pre‑recorded, but Apple still invites select reporters to the Steve Jobs Theater to view the video live and then handle the new devices. The table below shows that Apple’s last six events have occurred roughly two weeks between the announcement and the event date.

The foldable iPhone Ultra is expected to debut the same day as the Pro models, though production constraints may delay its official launch. Analysts believe the design is locked and mass production is underway, suggesting no significant postponement.
