Apple this week expanded support for its Apple Account Card in the Wallet app to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Malta. The feature started rolling out in 2022 and has gradually expanded to more countries.

The Apple Account Card displays the balance associated with a user's Apple Account and can be used for purchases at Apple Stores, Apple.com, the App Store, and for subscriptions and services. It also receives credit from redeemed Apple Gift Cards and can be topped up via linked debit or credit cards using the "Add Money" option in Wallet.

Importantly, the Apple Account Card is not the Apple Card — Apple's credit card with a physical version, credit line, interest, and rewards. The Account Card is digital-only, has no credit line, no interest, no rewards, cannot send money to friends, and balances cannot be cashed out.

Supported regions now include 22 countries such as Australia, Canada, Japan, the UK, and U.S. In-store payment via double-clicking the side button isn't available everywhere, and Apple hasn't confirmed if the four new regions will get full features. To add the card, open Wallet, tap the plus button, then tap Add Apple Account.
