All-Glass 2027 iPhone Still on Track Despite Cancellation Rumors

A prominent Chinese leaker, Digital Chat Station, has added weight to the belief that Apple's all-glass 20th-anniversary iPhone remains in active development. The leaker identifies the device via internal codenames V73/V74 and reports two display sizes in equivalent Pro/Pro Max variants, with the displays having increased in physical size while retaining the same aspect ratio. This aligns with Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who stated the glass-centric redesign is still on track for 2027.

Gurman also noted Apple considered a more ambitious version with even more glass, but it was scrapped early on. Jefferies analyst Edison Lee previously claimed the device had been canceled, but Digital Chat Station's latest post strengthens the case that Lee is off the mark. The device is expected to arrive in the fall of 2027.
