Apple is set to release iOS 27 this September, introducing a massive wave of features driven by the new context-aware Siri and Apple Intelligence. While the update focuses on refining the flagship operating system, it moves far beyond simple bug fixes to embrace the generative AI era.

Key enhancements include the ability to extend photos for Lock Screen wallpapers, automatic Safari tab organization, and natural language support for Reminders and Calendar entries. Users can also enjoy new communication features, such as inline replies to Android users in Messages and the ability to switch between Siri and ChatGPT within the Siri app.
