Xiaomi’s next folding phone just leaked, and it brings the trendy short and wide design. The Xiaomi 18 Fold, confirmed to launch in September with the brand-new Xring O3 chipset, emerged in two hands-on images on Weibo. According to the post, we are looking at an engineering prototype of the Xiaomi 18 Fold, so the final version may look different.

The unit in the images features a "Dark Cherry" red color, which is expected to be the hero color of the i Phone 18 Pro series and just about every Android phone in the next few months. We can also spot three cameras arranged inside a visor on the back. Source (in Chinese) | Via (in Japanese).
