vivo has expanded its T5 lineup in India with the vivo T5e, a budget phone highlighted by a 5,500mAh battery. The device arrives shortly after the T5 Lite launch and ahead of the upcoming vivo S2.

The vivo T5e comes in a single 4GB/64GB variant priced at INR 13,999 ($145). It features a 6.74-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, driven by an octa-core UniSoc T7225 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage expandable via microSD.

Imaging includes a single 13MP rear camera in a pill-shaped module and a 5MP front shooter within a waterdrop notch. The 5,500mAh battery supports 15W wired charging, while software runs Funtouch OS 16.

Additional features comprise a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 dust and water resistance, and MIL-STD-810H certification. The phone measures 8.19mm thick, weighs 199g, and comes in Aero Blue and Shadow Grey. Connectivity covers dual 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.
