July's final week brought major leaks and launches. The vivo S2 full specs leaked ahead of its August 6 India launch, featuring a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset, 50MP main camera, 32MP selfie camera, and a massive 7,050mAh battery with 44W charging. The 8/128GB model is expected to cost between INR 40,000 and INR 45,000.

Vivo also expanded its X300 series with the X300 E in China, packing a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, 6.59-inch 144Hz OLED, Zeiss-backed triple camera system, and 7,200mAh battery with 90W charging. Starting at CNY 5,099, sales are now open.

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra could see significant battery upgrades, with 5,200mAh and 5,700mAh cells respectively, enabled by silicon-carbon technology. The Galaxy S26 FE appeared in regulatory certification with 45W wired charging support, up from 25W.

MediaTek is adopting an Apple-like naming strategy for its next flagship lineup, including Dimensity 9600s, Pro, and Pro Max variants, with the 9600s being a 3nm refresh and Pro models moving to TSMC's 2nm process. Google's Pixel 11 series, launching August 12, may drop 128GB options and introduce the Pixel Glow notification feature.
