Telegram has unveiled a major redesign of its Android and iOS apps, introducing a new bottom navigation bar that provides quick access to Chats, Settings, Profile, and other tabs. The company says it has completely rebuilt the interface code to maximize efficiency and improve responsiveness.

iOS users receive additional updates including a redesigned media viewer, new preview panels for sticker and emoji packs, and updated context menus in user profiles. iPad users gain a new keyboard shortcut (⌘+Enter) for sending messages. The update also brings automatic group ownership transfer, where groups will assign a new owner from admins one week after the current owner leaves.

Beyond the interface changes, Telegram introduced a crafting system for collectible gifts, allowing users to combine existing items to create Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary versions with unique artwork and effects. The platform also enhanced bot development capabilities by enabling emojis and colors in button interfaces. Users can access these features by updating their app through official app stores.
