Qualcomm's upcoming flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro (internally SM8975), has appeared in an AnTuTu 11 benchmark, scoring an impressive 4.83 million points. This represents a modest increase over the current Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which typically scores between 4 and 4.6 million. However, these early results should be viewed with caution, as they likely represent unfinished hardware.

It is anticipated that both a Pro and a non-Pro version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 will be released. Both are rumored to be manufactured using a 2nm process, though the foundry remains unconfirmed. Both chips are expected to feature next-generation Oryon CPU cores in a 2+3+3 configuration. The non-Pro model is said to include an Adreno 845 GPU with 12MB of memory, while the Pro variant will reportedly sport the more powerful Adreno 850 with 18MB of graphics memory.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 Pro is slated to power upcoming devices, such as the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max, expected in September.
