Sharp unveiled the Aquos R11, a direct successor to the R10 that pushes Japanese mobile design forward. The 6.5‑inch Pro IGZO OLED offers 1‑240Hz refresh and 3,600 nits peak brightness, eclipsing its predecessor by 20%. Gorilla Glass Victus 2, IP68/69, and MIL‑STD‑810G ratings give the phone rugged durability.

Camera gear triples into a Leica‑HEKTOR trio: a 50.3MP main sensor at f/1.9, a 50.3MP ultra‑wide at f/2.2, and a new 38.5MP telephoto at 2.9×/68mm. A 14‑channel spectral sensor and a 50.3MP selfie camera add versatility, while OIS and EIS across lenses promise sharp results in low light.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 replaces the 7+ Gen 3 of the R10, boosting CPU clocks and GPU power while a larger vapor chamber improves thermal headroom. Coupled with 12GB LPDDR5X and 512GB UFS 4.1, the device runs Android 16 and commits to three OS updates plus five years of security patches.

Battery life centers on a 5,100mAh pack that tops the line at 36W wired charging, reaching full charge in roughly 90 minutes. USB‑C supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and DisplayPort 1.4, while Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and dual‑band GPS round out connectivity. Sharp’s R11 will retail at JPY 163,900 ($1,025) in Japan, available from early July.
