Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22 will debut three new foldables: the wide Galaxy Z Fold8, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip8. Samsung is reshuffling names — the new wide model becomes Z Fold8, while the Fold7 successor becomes Z Fold8 Ultra. No Z Flip8 FE is planned. Production targets aim for 2.8 million Z Fold8 units, 2.0 million Z Fold8 Ultras, and 1.5 million Z Flip8s.

The Z Fold8 features a 5.5-inch cover display, a 7.6-inch 4:3 inner screen, 4.5mm thickness unfolded, 201g weight, IP48 rating, dual 50MP cameras (no telephoto), Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, 12GB/16GB RAM, and a 4,800mAh Si/C battery with 45W charging. The Z Fold8 Ultra retains a 6.5-inch cover, 200MP main camera, 10MP 3x telephoto, upgraded 50MP ultra-wide, 4.1mm thickness, 218g, and a 5,000mAh Si/C battery (1,200 cycles).

The Z Flip8 slims to 180g and 6.1mm unfolded but keeps a 4,300mAh battery (no Si/C), unchanged cameras, and uses Exynos 2600 in South Korea and Europe. Rumors suggest this may be the last Flip model. European pricing starts at €2,200 (Z Fold8 Ultra), €2,000 (Z Fold8), and €1,300 (Z Flip8).
