A reference to the Samsung Galaxy Buds On recently appeared online, featuring an ear-hook design. Now, new information suggests Samsung is planning a return to the high-end over-ear headphones market to rival the Sony WH-1000 XM6 and Apple AirPods Max 2.

The company previously released its Level Over headphones back in 2014, featuring 50mm dynamic drivers and ANC. There is strong reason to believe the new flagship headphones will follow a similar premium trajectory.

Currently codenamed Galaxy H1, references in the Galaxy Wearable app indicate the device will feature Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, SSC UHQ codec support, and active noise cancellation. According to Sam Mobile, the pair will be released sometime in 2027, meaning further leaks may not arrive for some time.
