Samsung unveiled four new gaming monitors at Gamescom 2026, led by the Odyssey OLED G9. This is the world's first 49" Dual QHD monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate, featuring a curved 5th gen QD-OLED panel that is 1.3x more efficient and has double the longevity of previous generations. The monitor reaches up to 1,300 nits peak brightness and offers a unique 720Hz mode at 720p resolution.

The Odyssey OLED G8 provides similar technology in a 32" UHD format, supporting 360Hz natively with overclocking options up to 680Hz at 1080p. Both high-end models include the Samsung Glare Free film, DisplayPort 2.1, and KVM USB hubs. For competitive gamers, the Odyssey G6 was upgraded to become the world's first 1,100Hz gaming monitor, though it is limited to HD resolution, with QHD available at 600Hz.

Samsung also announced a partnership with Activision Blizzard to integrate HDR10+ Gaming into 20 AAA titles by early 2027, starting with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
