Android Authority’s latest leak pulled a One UI 9 build from Samsung’s firmware, exposing mock‑ups of the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Wide Fold. The screenshots confirm that the Wide Fold—codenamed H8—retains a short, horizontally‑stretched cover screen with a reduced punch‑hole cutout, while the Fold8—codenamed Q8—mirrors its predecessor’s tall, narrow outer display.

Leaked renders show the Wide Fold’s dual rear lenses housed in a vertical island, and dimensions of 123.9 × 164.4 × 4.3 mm when unfolded, collapsing to 123.9 × 82.2 × 9.8 mm folded. Analysts expect a 4.7:3 aspect ratio on the outer screen and a 4:3 panel inside. The Z Fold8 appears to keep a triple‑camera array on its back, suggesting incremental upgrades rather than a redesign.

Both devices are slated for a July rollout alongside the Galaxy Z Flip8, positioning Samsung to refresh its foldable lineup before competitors unveil their own premium flex screens. By refining cover‑screen proportions and preserving familiar camera modules, Samsung aims to smooth the learning curve for existing users while enticing newcomers with slimmer, more pocketable designs.

Early impressions suggest Samsung will retain its premium price tier, reinforcing foldables as a niche but growing segment rather than a mass‑market gamble.
