Samsung rolled out its mid‑tier A37 and A57 this week, easing a stalled launch that had kept the A56 on hold. The A57 debuts with a slimmer chassis (6.9 mm, 179 g) and upgraded Exynos 1680, while the A37 sticks to a plastic frame but gains IPX8 water resistance and UFS 3.1 storage. Prices sit below the recent hike, making them attractive entry points.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE undercuts the A57 by roughly $50 on both 128 GB and 256 GB trims, with an MSRP jump to $750 for the 256 GB model after last week’s price hike. Powered by a high‑end Exynos 2400 and a dedicated 8 MP telephoto lens, the FE offers stronger performance but a thicker, heavier build than the A57’s 6.7‑inch LTPO display.

Google’s Pixel 10a matches the A37’s price but trades a larger 6.7‑inch panel for a 6.3‑inch screen, while its 5 100 mAh battery and Tensor G4 processor deliver an 15:13 h active‑use score—slightly better than the A37’s 13:49 h. The Pixel 10a also adds Satellite SOS, a feature absent from the Galaxy line, giving it a distinct edge for safety‑centric users and in today’s market.
