Images have surfaced showcasing Samsung's upcoming 25W wireless charger. This accessory, model number EP-P2900BBEGWW, supports the Qi2 standard, promising faster wireless charging for the Galaxy S26 series, particularly the S26 Ultra. The charger will feature a wireless charging puck connected to a USB-C cable, and is expected in black.

This follows the Galaxy S25 series, which offered 15W wireless charging. The new charger is likely Qi2.2 compliant, which allows for speeds up to 25W. Users will need a Qi2-ready case with Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) alignment. A compatible Samsung 45W power adapter or higher is required to reach the maximum charging speed.

The charger is compatible with the Galaxy S25 series or later models with magnetic cases, and should also work with other Qi2/MagSafe smartphones. We also recently saw images of Samsung’s Qi2 power bank, which is expected to offer up to 15W wireless and 20W via USB-C cables. Expect more details soon.

With wireless charging becoming increasingly prevalent, Samsung's move to 25W is a welcome upgrade. It aligns with industry trends towards faster and more convenient charging solutions, suggesting a focus on improving the user experience for future flagship devices.
