Xiaomi has revealed more details about its upcoming Redmi Note 15 Special Edition ahead of its April 2 launch. The phone will feature a vegan leather finish in the Crimson Reserve color option, alongside standard Carbon Black and Frosted White variants. The device will be available exclusively through Flipkart in India.

A key differentiator from the global Redmi Note 15 is the camera setup. While the global model sports a 108MP camera, the Special Edition will use a 50MP sensor with 4K video recording capabilities. This matches the Chinese model's camera but with a larger sensor size. The Special Edition also boasts a 5,800mAh battery with 45W fast charging, promising up to 44 hours of usage and five years of battery health.

Powering the device is the same Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset found in other Redmi Note 15 variants. The color options appear to mirror the Chinese model's New Year Cherry Red Edition, Midnight Black, and Starlight White finishes. Xiaomi's strategy seems to be creating a distinct Indian market variant with premium materials and improved battery life while maintaining the same core performance as the standard model.
