The Poco M8 5G offers impressive value with its Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, 120Hz AMOLED display, and 5,520mAh battery in a budget-friendly package. As a sibling to the Redmi Note 15 5G, it delivers similar performance at a lower price point by omitting the ultrawide camera and slightly reducing main camera resolution. The device features IP66/IP65 water resistance, drop protection up to 1.7m, and expandable storage via microSDXC.

Xiaomi's familiar formula continues with the Poco M8, which ships in a plastic body with a plastic frame. The 6.77-inch AMOLED display offers 800 nits typical brightness, 3,200 nits peak, and HDR support. Storage options range from 128GB to 512GB with RAM configurations from 6GB to 8GB. The phone runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2 and promises up to four major Android upgrades.

While the 50MP main camera and 20MP front shooter provide decent photography capabilities, the 5,520mAh battery may prove to be the weakest link in this otherwise well-equipped device. The retail bundle includes a 45W charger in most markets, along with a sturdy USB-C cable and TPU case. With its combination of solid durability, bright display, capable chipset, and expandable storage, the Poco M8 5G successfully hits the value sweet spot for budget-conscious consumers.
