Oppo began rolling out the ColorOS 16 May 2026 update to its Find and Reno line this week, promising a refreshed lock‑screen and smoother app switching. The centerpiece, Live Space, delivers fluid animations and capsule‑style notifications that stay out of the way while showing real‑time alerts. Users will notice seamless transitions between Messages, Weather and Calendar for daily productivity and media consumption.

Beyond visuals, the update injects a suite of AI tools. AI Mind Pilot suggests actions based on usage patterns, while AI Grouping clusters similar photos and messages. AI Menu Translation and AI Popout translate app menus on the fly, and AI Scan converts documents to editable text. Live Translation now offers context‑aware summaries and an AI Recording Sticker for annotating audio and streamline routine workflows.

The upgrade also expands cross‑platform sharing via O+ Connect, letting Oppo and Apple devices exchange files without extra apps. App Cloner now supports up to three instances of the same app, easing switches between work, personal and entertainment profiles. Oppo plans to finish the phased rollout by May 31, covering all eligible Find and Reno models including users in Southeast Asian markets.
