Available to premium subscribers, the protection works regardless of VPN connection status. Users can activate the feature through the Threat Protection screen in the NordVPN Android app, which guides them through Android settings configuration. The system evaluates incoming calls using various intelligence sources to identify suspicious numbers.

This expansion follows growing concerns about phone scams worldwide.
