HMD rolled out four new Nokia feature phones that embed on‑device AI, signaling the brand’s refusal to abandon the low‑end market. The lineup—Nokia 200 4G, 210 4G, 215 4G 2nd Edition and 235 4G 2nd Edition—places a dedicated AI button on the D‑pad, letting users fire up the Sikey AI assistant for voice queries and basic controls.

The AI service runs free for the first 180 days, after which a paid subscription—purchased via a smartphone—is required. All models run S30+ OS, house 1,450 mAh batteries and support Bluetooth 5.0, USB‑C charging and 3.5 mm audio. Screens range from a 2.4‑inch QVGA panel on the 210 and 215 to a 2.8‑inch IPS display on the 215 and 235, while the 210 and 235 add rear cameras, the latter a 2 MP shooter.

Each handset includes Xpress chat video calling through its VGA camera, giving ultra‑basic face‑time without needing a data plan. HMD has not disclosed pricing or launch dates, leaving budget‑conscious shoppers to wait for regional announcements. By folding AI into legacy hardware, Nokia hopes to differentiate cheap phones in crowded emerging markets.
