Motorola unveiled the Edge 70 Pro+ in India, a rebadged version of the global Edge 70 Pro featuring 3.5x optical zoom via its 50MP telephoto lens. The device retains a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 7i, and 5,200 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chip powers 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone’s quad-camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor (Sony LYTIA-710), ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto lenses, plus a front-facing 50MP punch-hole camera. A 6,500mAh battery supports 90W wired and 15W wireless charging, while IP68/IP69 ratings ensure durability. Software runs on Android 16 with Moto AI 2.0 and promises 5 years of security updates.

Priced at INR 47,999 ($501), the single 12/256GB model launches on June 11 via Motorola’s online store and retailers. This marks Motorola’s latest push into premium flagships, blending Android 16 features with camera-centric hardware to compete in India’s crowded market.

The Edge 70 Pro+ emphasizes consistent design language across regions, prioritizing battery life and camera versatility over radical innovation.
