Lava launched the Virat V1 and Virat V1 5G smartphones in partnership with Flipkart, targeting youth and online-first buyers with sub-INR15,000 price tags. The Virat V1 5G features a Unisoc T8200 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage (expandable to 1TB), and runs Android 16 without ads or bloatware.

It sports a 6.75" HD+ 120Hz display, 13MP dual rear camera, 5MP selfie shooter, 6,000 mAh battery with 10W charging, side fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm jack, IP64 rating, and Bluetooth 5.0. Available in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold, it's priced at INR12,999 (launch offer INR11,999).

The 4G-only Virat V1 uses a Unisoc SC9863A chip, Android 15 Go, 90Hz display, 5,000 mAh battery, 256GB storage expansion, Bluetooth 4.2, and comes in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver. Priced at INR9,999 (launch INR8,999), both models go on sale July 31 via Lava's website and Flipkart with free home service.
