Indian handset maker Lava was expected to enter the UK smartphone market in Q1 2026. That timeline slipped, but the brand now says it will make its UK debut soon, teasing a new phone for the region.

The device is the Lava Agni 4N, which has not yet launched in India. The teaser posted on X shows a rear camera island identical to the Agni 4, introduced in India last November, and the caption reads “does what SAM can't,” a clear jab at Samsung.

Lava’s UK X account previously mocked Samsung for look‑alike designs, plastic builds, slow processors and charging, and its bio declares “Escape the SAMe cycle.” While details are pending, the Agni 4N is expected to feature a Dimensity 8350 SoC, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP primary camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The launch could bring a 256GB 8GB RAM variant priced at ₹27,999.

More specifications and an exact launch date are still pending, but the earlier Agni 4 announcement provides a preview of what to expect. The UK market will be watching closely as Lava aims to break the dominance of established brands. The upcoming launch promises to challenge the current market leaders and attract tech‑savvy consumers.
