vivo's iQOO brand has revealed more details about the upcoming iQOO 15R ahead of its February 24 launch in India. The smartphone will feature a punch-hole AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. The screen will support HDR10+ and include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

iQOO confirmed the 15R will carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, making it more durable than many competitors in its segment. The rear camera setup includes an 8MP ultrawide-angle lens alongside a 50MP Sony LYT-700V primary sensor capable of 4K@60FPS video recording. These specifications position the 15R as a feature-rich device in the mid-to-premium price range.

The iQOO 15R will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC with a 7,600mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging and bypass charging technology. Additional gaming-focused features include the Q2 Supercomputing Chip, 6.5K IceCore VC Cooling System, and 144 FPS gaming support in BGMI through frame interpolation. The device will launch with OriginOS 6 and receive four years of OS updates and six years of security updates, with the base model priced under INR50,000.
