Rumors of Apple developing a teleconverter kit have been circulating, but now PGYTech has released its RetroVa Vintage Imaging kit for the iPhone 16 Pro and 17 Pro series. The kit includes a protective case, a leather grip with physical controls and a microSD card slot, and a 2.35x telephoto extender lens. This allows for impressive optical zoom capabilities.

The kit's design is inspired by retro cameras, with a black pebbled leather finish and a premium grip with metal-texture controls. With the telephoto extender, the iPhone 17 Pro can achieve a 235mm focal length, roughly 10x zoom. The iPhone 16 Pro can reach around 12x zoom. A dedicated app also provides additional focal lengths.
