Yesterday, Apple released the fifth beta of iOS 27 for developers. According to a new report, this version contains hidden code that confirms six upcoming iPhone models. The references were found in system files tied to battery drivers and Battery Intelligence features. Alongside existing models, the iOS 27 beta 5 code mentions the iPhone Air 2 (codenamed V62), the iPhone 18 Pro (V63), the iPhone 18 Pro Max (V64), the iPhone 18 (V67), the iPhone Ultra (V68), and the iPhone 18e (V69). These codenames match previous leaks but reveal no specs. They are as close to an official confirmation as available before Apple announces them.

Earlier betas also showed support for foldable displays and multiple batteries, features slated for the iPhone Ultra. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra in September, with the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 following in early 2027.
