The Infinix Note 60 has appeared on Geekbench ahead of its launch, revealing the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset that will power the device. The phone, carrying model number X6879, achieved a single-core score of 1,055 and a multi-core score of 3,097 in Geekbench 6.5 for Android. The benchmark listing shows 8GB of RAM, though Infinix may offer additional configurations at launch.

This revelation comes after Infinix announced that some members of the Note 60 family will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, specifically the Pininfarina-designed Note 60 Ultra. The standard Note 60, however, will use MediaTek's Dimensity 7400, marking a departure from the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate found in last year's Note 50s 5G. The device will run Android 16 with Infinix's newly unveiled XOS 16 interface.

The Note 60 represents Infinix's continued strategy of offering different chipset options across its product lineup to target various market segments. With its Geekbench appearance, consumers now have a clearer picture of the device's performance capabilities before its official unveiling. The Note 60 appears positioned as a mid-range offering that balances performance with affordability in the competitive smartphone market.
