An unannounced Infinix device, suspected to be the GT 50 Pro, has appeared in the Geekbench database. The handset, model number X6891, reportedly scored 1,612 in single-core and 6,686 in multi-core tests, running on a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip.

This model is expected to succeed the GT 30 Pro, which launched in mid-2025. The jump from 30 to 50 in naming may reflect cultural preferences, as the number four is often avoided in some Asian markets due to superstition. The prototype ran Android 16 with 12GB of RAM.

While performance benchmarks don’t guarantee real-world results, this early data hints at Infinix’s push into the competitive gaming smartphone segment. Consumers can expect more details as the launch approaches, potentially at a global event later this year.
