According to a rumor from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the company is working on a candybar-style device with a 16:9 or 16:10 display, essentially offering the Pura X experience without the folding mechanism.

The original Pura X launched last year with a 16:10 aspect ratio that distinguished it from competitors. The new non-folding variant is reportedly in development with its display already in production. Huawei plans to launch the handset between October and December 2026, targeting strong sales in the Chinese market based on the Pura X's performance.
