Honor has officially announced the unveiling date for its upcoming Magic OS 11, based on Android 17. The new software will be showcased at a "Pioneer Event" in China on August 6.

Last week, Honor initiated an early access program for Magic OS 11, targeting devices like the Magic V6. The upcoming OS is expected to feature a distinctive glass-like UI, a design trend notably influenced by Apple among Chinese Android manufacturers.

Honor promises that Magic OS 11 will provide a "vibrant, transparent, and silky-smooth" user experience. The company states that significant upgrades have been implemented, positioning it as "a whole new evolution of the Android experience."
