Honor Power3 Battery Rumor Downgraded to 10,000 mAh

Honor launched the Power2 in January, and rumors suggested the upcoming Power3 would feature a massive 11,000 to 12,000 mAh battery. However, a new report from Digital Chat Station on Weibo has tempered expectations, stating the Honor Power3 will have a battery of at least 10,000 mAh.

The Honor Power2 already packs a 10,080 mAh cell, meaning its successor may only match or slightly exceed that capacity. The ambitious target of reaching 11,000 mAh or higher appears to have been too optimistic.

On the display front, the device's screen has reportedly grown to 7" diagonally, up from the predecessor's 6.79-inch panel. It will feature a flat display and be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8-series chipset, similar to the Power2's Dimensity 8500 Elite.

Whether the Power3 retains the same SoC or adopts a theoretical Dimensity 8600 remains unclear. If Honor follows a yearly release cycle, the Power3 could arrive around one year after the Power2, leaving time for more details to emerge.
