A new rumor claims the Honor Magic V6 will pack a battery of at least 7,000 mAh. If true, this would give it the largest battery capacity of any foldable phone on the market, surpassing its predecessor, the Magic V5, which launched with a 6,100 mAh cell in China.

The leak comes from tipster Digital China Station, who previously suggested Honor was testing 6,900 mAh and 7,200 mAh battery variants. This aligns with a broader industry push for larger batteries in foldables, a category where battery life has often been a compromise due to the complex form factor and power-hungry displays.

While battery capacity is a key differentiator, charging speeds for the Magic V6 remain unknown. The device is also rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and a 200MP primary camera. An official launch date has not been announced, but more details are expected in the coming months.
