HMD is finally launching the top-tier variant of its Vibe 2 5G smartphone in India tomorrow. The device originally debuted in late May with promises of up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, but only 4GB configurations were available until now. Flipkart will carry the 6/128GB model starting June 16 at 12pm.

The new variant launches at ₹17,000 ($180/€155), though early buyers can snag it for ₹15,000 during the initial sale period. For context, the 4/128GB version costs ₹15,000 while the base 4/64GB model now retails for ₹13,000. Select cardholders can claim an additional ₹2,000 discount.

The Vibe 2 5G packs a 6.75-inch IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate and a massive 6,000mAh battery supporting 18W wired charging. It runs on Unisoc's T8200 processor with a microSD slot for expansion. Camera specs include a 50MP main shooter and 8MP front-facing lens. HMD kept the 3.5mm headphone jack that many brands have abandoned.

This launch completes the Vibe 2 5G lineup nearly a month after the initial rollout, giving Indian consumers access to the full specification range. The pricing positions it competitively against other budget 5G devices in the sub-$200 segment.
