The HMD Asha 305, positioned as a "lite smartphone," has launched in the Philippines. It offers an upgrade from feature phones with Android AOSP-based Pulse OS, a removable 2,500mAh battery, and essential hardware. The device is powered by a Unisoc T137 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage, featuring a 5-inch 480 × 854 pixel LCD.

It includes 2MP front and rear cameras, dual 4G SIM support, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.2. Pre-loaded apps include Facebook Lite, Instagram Lite, and WhatsApp. HMD claims up to 32 hours of standby time from the battery.

Priced at PHP 3,990 ($65), the Asha 305 is expected to expand to other markets soon.
