Hisense has introduced the Hisense A10, a unique smartphone featuring a 6.13” e-ink display on the front, designed for reading but facing Android's limitations with slow refresh rates.

To address this, Hisense developed a detachable LCD screen that magnetically attaches to the back of the phone. While the specifications of this add-on screen are not yet public, it will be sold separately. The Hisense A10 itself is a 5G device running Android 16, powered by an unnamed 4nm Snapdragon chipset.

The Hisense A10 will be priced at CNY 4,000 ($590) without the LCD add-on. The LCD itself may be costly, potentially reaching CNY 3,000 ($440). This concept is similar to the Bigme Hibreak Dual 2, which features a non-removable 5” LCD alongside its e-ink display.
