Google is expanding its AI Mode in Google Search with new travel capabilities, including flight price tracking and hotel booking. Users can now set up price alerts while chatting and search for flights by describing destinations and dates, accessing options from over 300 partner airlines and travel sites. AI Mode also supports searching with miles or cash and allows users to build itineraries and purchase tickets through airline websites or booking platforms.

In addition to flights, AI Mode can now book hotels by providing options with photos, guest reviews, and pricing. Once a hotel is selected, users can complete bookings directly through Google, with integration across hotel chains and online travel sites. Room selection, detail review, and payment via Google Pay are supported.

Flight tracking is available in more than 180 countries and territories, while points and miles rates are now globally accessible. Hotel booking is rolling out in the US in English and will expand "over the coming weeks," according to Google. These features were announced by Google and reported by GSMArena.
