Google is developing the Fitbit Edge fitness tracker, first hinted at in official promotional material back in August. Recent leaks reveal the device will launch in Europe at €179 and in the UK at £159. The tracker will come in four color options matching the Pixel Watch 5: Obsidian & Matte Black, Olive & Satin Pyrite, Canyon & Champagne Gold, and Fog & Polished Silver.
Specifications include a 1.34-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a suite of health sensors covering heart rate, SpO2, ECG, and skin temperature. The device supports over 40 exercise modes and automatic activity detection. It will operate on Fitbit OS and feature personalized coaching powered by Gemini.
Google advertises a 7-day battery life, reducing to 2 days with Always-on display enabled. Charging requires approximately 2 hours. The device is 11.58mm thick, weighs 17.7g, and holds a 5ATM and IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
It remains unclear when the Fitbit Edge will be officially announced, though pricing suggests it may succeed the Fitbit Charge 6.
