The Poco F9 Pro delivers near-flagship performance at under £600, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series chipset. This processor uses the same CPU architecture as the flagship Elite chip (2x 4.61GHz and 6x 3.63GHz Oryon cores) but features a GPU with two-thirds the compute units. Compared to the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, the V series offers higher clock speeds and 12MB of Adreno High Performance Memory, though it is two-thirds the size of the full chip.
Despite impressive endurance—matching pricier flagships like the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro Max with a 19:06h Active Use Score—the throttling algorithm requires fine-tuning. The 6.59" display boasts 12-bit colors, Dolby Vision, and 185Hz refresh rate. Photography features a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto, and an 8MP ultra-wide.
The 512GB model offers double storage for just £50 more than the 128GB variant. Fast 100W wired charging reaches 41% in 15 minutes.
