Whoop Life Membership: Is $359 Worth It?

Whoop offers three membership tiers for its fitness wearables, with the top-tier Whoop Life costing $359 annually. The entry-level Whoop One at $199 includes fitness and recovery insights, strain and sleep tracking, strength trainer, VO2 max estimates, Natural Cycles integration, and an AI-powered coach. The mid-tier Whoop Peak at $239 adds health monitor, stress monitor, and Healthspan features like Whoop Age and Pace of Aging.

Whoop Life bundles all previous features plus blood pressure insights, the Heart Screener package with ECG capability for detecting atrial fibrillation signs, priority phone support, and a 5.0 medical-grade sensor. The company notes ECG tests aren't intended for users with known arrhythmias other than AFib.

For those with family history of heart issues or cardiovascular concerns, the extensive data history may justify the cost. However, average users without specific heart health concerns will likely find the Whoop One plan sufficient, making the Life tier potentially excessive data for the price.
