Tesla has officially brought the Model Y Long Wheelbase to the US and Puerto Rico, nearly a year after its Chinese debut. This variant features a six-seat, three-row configuration and a wheelbase that is six inches longer than standard models. Customers can now place orders for the new stretched SUV ahead of deliveries.

Pricing for this expanded model starts at $61,990, representing a significant premium of roughly $22,000 over the base Model Y. Despite the extra interior space, the vehicle maintains impressive performance with a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds. It offers a 325-mile range, which is only two miles less than the standard Premium version.

Buyers receive several incentives, including 12 months of free Supercharging and free access to Supervised Full Self Driving. The interior includes touchscreen displays for both the first and second rows, along with powered armrests and reclining third-row seats. Deliveries for this six-seat configuration are scheduled to begin between September and October this year.
