Apple's Emmy-winning comedy Ted Lasso is returning for a fourth season on August 5, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday through October 7. The series, which wrapped up its original three-season arc in 2023, brings Jason Sudekis, Brendan Hunt, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift back to the pitch.

This time around, Ted and Beard return to Richmond to take over coaching the club's women's team, which currently sits in the second division. The shift to the women's game introduces fresh faces including Sex Education's Tanya Reynolds and Andor's Faye Marsay, expanding the ensemble while keeping familiar favorites.

Behind the scenes, Bill Lawrence's split focus on his other projects has led to Jack Burditt taking over as executive producer. Burditt created Last Man Standing and previously worked on Frasier, 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Apple quickly moved to extend the series after its initial run ended, keeping one of its earliest streaming breakout hits alive.
