Sony is rolling out new titles to its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this month, shifting from a weekly drop to a staggered schedule. Square Enix’s flagship, Final Fantasy 16, will debut on June 16 for US, UK and Japan subscribers, while PS Plus Extra and Premium holders elsewhere receive the full batch at once. The move follows a recent Destiny 2 collection drop.

The title marks Square Enix’s first fully real‑time combat action RPG in the main series, ditching the classic turn‑based formula. Designed for PS5, Final Fantasy 16 promises a more cinematic experience with its sprawling world and streamlined battle mechanics. Fans who miss traditional turn‑based play may look forward to the upcoming HD‑2D Final Fantasy Resonance release in October.

On June 23, Kingdom Come: Deliverance and its sequel drop into the catalog for US, UK and Japan, joining Life is Strange: Double Exposure for PS5. Later, June 30 brings Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire and Black Desert to the same three markets. These releases broaden the catalog’s genre spread, from narrative‑driven RPGs to sandbox sims.

Earlier this month, PS Plus Extra and Premium users in the US and UK could start playing the remastered Sonic X Shadow Generations on June 11 in Japan. Premium subscribers worldwide also gained access to Gitaroo Man on June 16. These early additions underscore Sony’s strategy to keep the catalog fresh while rewarding higher‑tier members with exclusive titles.
