Roku is raising prices across its hardware lineup, with some devices costing up to $50 more. The company confirmed these hikes to Engadget, and the changes are currently visible on Roku's official website.

The Roku Ultra, the top-of-the-line streaming device, now costs $150, up from $100. Additionally, the basic Roku Streaming Stick has increased to $40 from $30.

According to The Desk, these price hikes are a result of rising memory costs and component shortages caused by the AI boom. While CEO Anthony J. Wood previously suggested that Roku's lower memory requirements would make it less affected than rivals, these changes indicate the company is feeling the impact on its first-party devices.
