Relooted, an Africanfuturist heist game, launches February 10. Players lead a Johannesburg crew stealing artifacts from Western museums. The 2.5D stealth-puzzle hybrid demands careful planning and quick escapes after grabbing each item.

Developed by South Africa’s Nyamakop studio, the game builds on their earlier success with *Semblance*. That 2018 title was the first locally-made IP on Nintendo Switch. Founders Cukia Kimani and Ben Myres previously discussed challenges of global exposure for sub-Saharan indies.

For now, Relooted is PC and Xbox-only. No Switch version is confirmed. Given Nyamakop’s past platform breakthroughs, many expect broader distribution soon. Industry watchers see potential for strong cultural resonance in its museum-heist narrative.
