Oppo has finally unveiled the Find X9 Ultra, the latest ultra‑flagship in a crowded 2026 camera‑phone market that includes Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra and Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra. The handset arrives in Canyon Orange and Tundra Umber finishes, the latter echoing its Hasselblad partnership. A protruding hexagonal camera module houses a new 200 megapixel primary sensor, the largest of its class. Its bulky silhouette underscores the extensive optics.

Under the hood the Find X9 Ultra steps up to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, swapping MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 from the previous model. Power comes from a 7,050 mAh silicon‑carbon battery with 100 W SUPERVOOC fast charging, while an industry‑first encapsulated thermal unit tames heat during prolonged 8K video capture. Its 6.82‑inch 144 Hz display can peak at 3,600 nits. The panel also supports HDR10+ for vibrant playback.

Camera enthusiasts get three telephoto options: a 3× 200 MP lens, a 10× 50 MP lens and an optional Hasselblad 300 mm Explorer teleconverter that pushes optical zoom to roughly 13×. Video modes include 4K 60 fps Dolby Vision and the first Oppo‑supported 8K 30 fps capture, plus an O‑Log2 profile for richer shadows. UK customers can order the phone on May 8 for £1,449; no U.S. launch is planned.
