Nintendo has scheduled a Direct stream for June 9 at 10AM ET, following recent showcases from PlayStation and Xbox. The 50-minute presentation will cover games for both Switch and Switch 2 platforms. Nintendo announced the event through its Nintendo Today app, with viewers able to watch on YouTube.

After the main presentation, a 95-minute Nintendo Treehouse stream will showcase gameplay from titles revealed during the Direct. The company currently has Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and FromSoftware's The Duskbloods on its slate for late 2026. Fans hope to see release dates for these games.

The event comes as Nintendo celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Zelda series. Rumors suggest a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time may be announced. The presentation provides Nintendo an opportunity to compete with recent gaming announcements from competitors.
